No-Bake Alkaline Phenolic and No-Bake Furan Resins Systems

No-Bake Alkaline Phenolic and No-Bake Furan Resins Systems

Videos

Content            : This video, published as part of the Foundry Academy, contains detailed information about the alkali phenolic and furan resin systems used in the sand molding process. By defining alkaline phenolic and furan resins, which are defined as no-bake type resins that are preferred in both ferrous and non-ferrous casting processes; Sand strength tests are performed on the samples produced and the properties of two different resin types are compared based on the results. Determining the resin types suitable for the processes is of great importance in terms of producing high-quality casting parts. This lecture program, in which two types of organic binder systems preferred by foundries where the sand molding process is applied, are examined, aims to improve the application capabilities of the users.
